About Us

West Chowan Baptist Association is comprised of 60 Churches located in three counties, Hertford, Bertie, and Northampton, in northeastern North Carolina.

We are a body of believers committed to worshiping and serving Jesus Christ. As an Association, we join with like-minded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world.

Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and in the West Chowan Association we desire to do the same. That is why you will discover here ministries geared to various life stages and needs. That is why we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.

We want you to be a part of the blessings of God in the life of our Association. We will bring you updates often on just what is happening throughout the Association and share the stories of how Christ is making a difference in the lives of people.

Values

This body values an authentic biblical community, hands-on missions, community involvement, comprehensive communications, timely resources, and competent leadership. These values are to serve as guides in the formulating of the ministries of the association.

Purpose

The purpose of this Association shall be to inspire, encourage and enlist its membership in a spirit of brotherly love and cooperation to the end that the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ might be proclaimed with greater power and effectiveness in our Association, our State and Nation, and unto the uttermost part of the world.

Mission

The mission of the West Chowan Baptist Association is to be an authentic Biblical community of believers active in hands-on missions, compassionate public ministries, and the expansive preparation of church leaders.

 

 

Vision

 

The vision of the West Chowan Baptist Association is to be an association of diverse congregations exalting Christ through authentic service, exhibiting unity in Christ through networking, and encouraging inclusive participation through promoting cutting-edge ministries.
